Name: Hakuno Kishinami Door: Door Pass Canon: Fate/EXTELLA Canon Point: Post-Golden Poem End [End Game] Age: Indeterminate, as she was created in teenage-form, but she probably looks around 18. That's roughly the mental age she was created with. Appearance: Here History: Information on the Moon Cell Information on Velber A transcribed Let's Play of the entire game, with commentary and explanations with commentary and explanations as her wiki page goes into the history of previous games but only summarizes the first arc of Extella in depth. Personality: ◎ Never Gives Up: Listed in official materials as her main talent of note, Hakuno has unwavering conviction once she sets her mind on something. No matter what, once she makes a decision, she sees it through to the end, no matter the personal cost or effort required from her. This trait has led her to save the Earth and humanity itself at least two times to date. Even when her perceived amnesia was revealed to simply be a consequence of not having memories to remember at all, even when faced with the fact that she was a mistaken NPC somehow tangled into the role of the Master, meant for deletion, Hakuno's desire to keep moving forward drives her onward, with the support of her Servants. "I'm here because I've accumulated victories and crushed dreams," she says at one point near the end of the War in the first game. "Because of the cost to others, I can't even imagine failure."That determination shines through in Extella as well; in the beginning, when trapped by a traitor with the threat to all life on Earth itself, Hakuno risks everything on a gamble and splits herself into Soul, Body, and Mind rather than admit defeat at that point. In each Arc (played through the Mind, Soul, or Body component of Hakuno) she helps her Servant overcome the other two pairs, even when facing down a copy of herself or her past Servants. ☒ Enabling: Most vividly illustrated in the Orchid Words Arc (Tamamo Route) in the game, Hakuno exhibits an excessive amount of trust and acceptance, even when her partner begins to act cruelly towards others. Having faith in their bond, Hakuno accepted everything: selfish tactics, proudly professed hedonistic goals, her own confinement to the Regalia, and the ultimate decision to ignore a looming doom and enjoy an idyllic life with Tamamo, to please her. Similarly, during the Golden Dawn Arc (Altera Route), Hakuno ends up literally kept in a cage when not taken out for battle. Though this is subverted and actually intended for Hakuno's own protection, from this starting point Hakuno still develops deep romantic feelings and loyalty towards the Servant who literally calls her 'Prisoner'. Immediately after splitting herself apart, though some of it can be blamed on memory loss, this was Hakuno's assessment of her giant captor: "I feel dizzy, and I almost fall out of her hand. A moment ago, she looked like a mountain of death, but now... How can she seem so beautiful now? I'd expect those red eyes to be full of menace, but instead they look more like the eyes of a benevolent goddess... Wait, hold on. Am I thinking straight? Wasn't I running away in mortal terror just a minute ago? It's not like I've forgotten that, but... well, for one thing, I don't even know why she grabbed me in the first place...!" ☒ Limited Self-Preservation: As a side-effect of her usually positive determination, Hakuno will see things through to the end—be it a bitter or happy one. In Fate/Extra, she has every reason to believe that winning the Holy Grail War will end with her being deleted like every other NPC, but enters the Core to make her wish and protect humanity, anyways. In Extella, when first meeting Altera, Hakuno takes drastic measures in order to keep the Regalia safe, and her thought process in that instance is as follows: "...I access the Regalia. I search for a way to break out of this situation. ...I find one in a fraction of a second. [...] This is reckless. It's basically certain death. It might not save me, but at least I'll be out of here. It's almost a kind of suicide, but all I want to do right now is disappear. ...I don't care. It's not like I have any other choice. Well, this isn't the first time I've been this desperate, and hopefully, it won't be the last...!"By the end of that Arc, when given an opportunity to find a way to either save herself or prevent Altera's death, the Hakuno of that timeline does not hesitate at all to send her memories to another 'self' in an earlier point in the timeline in hopes of saving Altera, even at the cost of her own life. ☒ Overly Trusting: To quote Archimedes, when he betrays her to Velber at the start of the game/Dawn Arc: "Hm? You still don't know, Kishinami? Typical. You never suspected a thing, all the way here. I'm lucky you were such a kind-hearted soul. If the Regalia had fallen to someone more selfish, they never would have trusted me. One more lesson. Pay attention. Evil people, for all the chaos they inspire, have always left the world intact. So who's to blame now? It's obvious, isn't it? Whenever the world REALLY goes to hell, it's because of someone like you, with all your good intentions!"He had originally guided her to Altera to orchestrate a fight between them, but Hakuno hesitated to strike the first blow, allowing Altera the chance to awaken. Even at that point, Hakuno hesitated even more due to Altera's polite and kind first impression, costing her what would have been her one chance to safely stomp out Velber's vanguard and protect the Moon Cell—in a world where Archimedes had not been corrupted, at least. As mentioned in 'Enabling' above, she also put excessive faith in Tamamo during the Orchid Words Arc, even in the face of very questionable actions, and choices. Powers and Abilities: As the Sovereign, she can provide mana and form Contracts with an indeterminate number of Servants, but definitely three under normal conditions, and with a hard limit of 128 as that is the cap for what the Moon Cell itself can support at any given time. As a Master, she can perform support tasks and use Code Casts to heal Servants, create a decoy item to attract enemy attacks, temporarily increase attack, defense, luck, and resistance to different elements, cure status effects such as paralysis or poison, and some can also be used to detonate small 'bomb' element attacks, but only in tandem with a Contracted Servant in battle. Each Code Cast has a limited number (2-4) of uses before Hakuno exhausts herself, and she can only have four Code Casts equipped at any given time. When Contracted with a Servant, she can use up to three Command Seals on them. Inventory: ONE (1) Sovereign's Robe - Red Version, with matching bracelet and choker ONE (1) Regalia Ring - Complete, but power is reduced due to dimensional cut off from the Moon Cell. May be used to select and equip Code Casts, store items, such as candy or QP, and produce previously recorded Servant costumes and collected items, but will not resize them and cannot connect to the Moon Cell servers for further QP crafting. When in the possession of a contracted Servant, Hakuno can be willingly or forcibly put into the Regalia herself. The Regalia's current balance is [1,120,428] QP - Quantum Pieces, for crafting. Completely useless without connection to the Moon Cell, but pretty enough to look at. ZERO (0) Shoes - She may have a slight problem, at first. Samples: 1, 2 |
