in a sense, Hakuno -- an NPC born of the ancient, alien device, the all-seeing eye of the distant super-computer, the phantasmal God of the Moon Cell -- could already be described as something besides strictly "human" in the flesh-and-blood sense.
and Gilgamesh... well, one need not rehash his own dual character, having been borne of a goddess as he was.
for the King of Heroes, however, the more pressing issue is simply mutability itself, of which he has never been especially inclined: he had taken this Master's life into his hands, a proprietary gesture -- yet here, Hakuno lives on and her body shifts without his consent, decree, or guidance to oversee the alterations.

but!! she has a chance to redeem herself now. and... all right, Gil is negging the squirrel Master somewhat but also ya boi does miss riches. this is an adjustment period. and maybe, just maybe, they could do tasks together. he could lower himself just a little to some of those errands, and perhaps she, for that matter, is a little hardier. with his powers limited, there is not nearly so much inherent gulf of difference in strength between them. that's still a fact which goes unaddressed and unspoken -- or it did before. there was never sufficient time to consider how the shift in power differentials would change the dynamic. but now they have more immediate physical needs than they did in the Grail War.
Hakuno is a material girl, but also a fae, and Gilgamesh would essentially be deemed human again -- though a Witch. ]
I grant you the honor of assisting me in gaining all the wealth and treasures of Geardagas. We must live as befits people of the station to which my friend and I belong -- even if we are not as we were in life.
