[You know, excepting the fact that she's killed people, she now has lady troubles to deal with, and had a 2AM screaming match with Gilgamesh just this morning over an innuendo-ridden misunderstanding.]
It's... kind of a misunderstanding that spiraled into a larger issue.
[She blows out a sigh.]
Basically, it boils down to him thinking I'm not worthy enough to be close to him, I guess. And... me missing the dynamic I had with his other self, maybe. I don't know, it's stupid.
[ Oh poor sweet Hakuno. Irisviel understands - she probably didn't have a lot of interaction with other people with all this talk of her being an anomaly. And anything familiar and intimate, like a Master and Servant relationship - takes a wholly deeper meaning.
She wondered what would happen if she couldn't have that kind of relationship with Saber here, and Iri completely gets it. ]
You are worthy to be close to him, Hakuno-chan. Don't let his attitude keep you away, though I admit it's like dealing with a caged lion on occasion.
[ one that likes a lot of gold ]
Would you like me to come over? I have some pastries left with me.
[ Irisviel ends the call and proceeds to the kitchen, where she's got half a box of assorted pastries. A couple of slices of cake, a few eclairs and a bunch of cookies in a beautiful white box with a white ribbon.
She makes her way over to Hakuno's room, knocking gently on the door with a smile. ]
[ Irisviel pops her head in carefully, before coming into the room properly. At first she couldn't see where Hakuno was, but once she spots that characteristic long hair, she makes her way over and sits on the edge of the bed. ]
I brought some pastries with me.
[ she says, holding up the box ]
I'm thinking of opening a cafe so I decided to see what kind of cakes there were.
[ says Irisviel without even batting an eye. Now it all made sense. If Hakuno never had a human body, then it stood to reason that she would be unfamiliar with how periods worked. ]
It's a perfectly normal part of being human, but...
[ Irisviel undoes the ribbon, opens the box and takes an eclair before holding out to Hakuno. ]
i'm doing it
[ iri's melodic voice echoes through, looking for her ]

What about you?

[ she says, carefully. Iri knows that Hakuno was Gilgamesh's Master, so she holds some level of affection for her Servant. ]
Did he upset you?
no subject
[At her. And she's a little mad at him, too, because at one point he said something that cut deeper than she thought it would.]

What happened?
[ Granted, if it were any other time and place she couldn't imagine Gilgamesh upset but here, it's a completely different ball game. ]

[Hakuno wrings her hands, silently turning those words over in her head.]
...yes please.

[Hakuno is more or less curled up on her bed, less out of moroseness and more because sitting up is a little uncomfortable right now.]

[Hakuno heaves herself up, with a slight wince.]
Sensei has been teaching me baking too. Adrasteius, I mean.

[ Irisviel reaches over and brushes some of the hair away from her face with her free hand. ]

[...well, yes, sort of, but not just that. Hakuno glances down, her cheeks coloring from the gentle touch as much as her fumbling explanation.]
I, um... I have a human body, now. And it's got a schedule, so to speak.

It's not the most pleasant. Say "aaah".

[And... messy. Ugh.]
Aaahn.
[She bites into the offered eclair, and her disgruntled expression is wiped away from the resulting bliss.]

What do you think? I want to put this on the menu but I'm not sure whether strawberry or chocolate would be better.
no subject
[Hakuno munches happily, almost sad to swallow.]
Is there a reason you can't put both on the menu? Or maybe switch them out depending on the day?
no subject
[ She holds out the eclair even more so that she could take it and eat the rest. ]
There's a whole bunch of things to try and I would like your professional opinion, as a girl who loves sweets.
